Girls U19 team on committing to further their hockey careers at
some outstanding NCAA institutions. It’s a tribute to their
success both this season and throughout their youth hockey

Austin Wuthrich Joins U.S. National
Under-17 Team January

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Austin Wuthrich (Anchorage, Alaska)
has been added to the U.S. National Under-17 Team roster USA
Hockey’s National Team Development Program announced today.
Wuthrich was a member of the U.S. National Under-17 Team that
captured the 2010 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Timmins,
Ont., in January. He also helped the Under-17 Team win the 2009
Four Nations Cup in Trnava, Slovakia, in November.
Wuthrich spent the last two seasons with Team Illinois.
“We are excited to bring in a player of Austin’s caliber,“ said
Ryan Rezmierski, director of player personnel for the NTDP. “I
would like to thank the Team Illinois organization for their
willingness to allow Austin to join us half-way through the
year. Their coaching staff has done a great job of preparing
Austin to play at the next level.”
NOTES:Austin Wuthrich has one assist in 10 international
contests with the U.S. National Under-17 Team … Wuthrich will
wear No. 72 for the remainder of the season.
